The Ridge, Baldivis has been planned to emphasise and enhance the best assets the land has to offer being the natural vegetation and unique landform.

The estate has been developed to HIA Greensmart standards and was a finalist in the 2006 Greensmart Awards. 

There is a natural depression at the entry of the estate that has been formed into a magnificent water feature. This feature utilises aerating filters that ensure the water quality is optimal and the surrounding vegetation, such as the existing Tuart trees maintain their natural beauty. The lake is bordered by outstanding landscaped parklands, which were created to provide families with a welcoming and usable recreational area.

The estate also boasts a number of large lots that were created due to existing groups of significant trees, which require preservation. These lots have been sold as large Homestead blocks so residents can enjoy the natural surroundings of the trees in their own backyard.  

The Ridge has been developed and landscaped using site mulch, imported mulch and soil conditioner in order to ensure that the retained and new vegetation have optimal conditions for growth and sustainability.

Peet is a major force in the HIA GreenSmart program, being an accredited GreenSmart Regional Partner in Western Australia and the first company in Victoria to construct a GreenSmart display village (Innisfail Estate).
